Despite being written by Bryce McGuire, this film is a clone of M. Night Shamyalan movies. The same ambiance, and people's relationship to and with water, are all portrayed in a nearly identical fashion. That's not to say it's not good. But I had to keep reminding myself, as I was watching it, that it wasn't one of Shamyalan's movies. It was very eerie. But I quite liked it. I was expecting some big, weird twist at the end, but there wasn't one. The film just flowed like water from one scene into another, and so on, right to the very end. If you are fascinated by water, and what might be lurking in the deep, and you like Shamyalan's movies, you will love this!

Hilarious deadpan comedy with the absolute queen of deadpan comedy herself, Aubrey Plaza. This is easily one of the strangest, but hilarious comedies I've ever seen. With a host of offbeat, Indie comedy actors, including Matt Barry, James Jerusche, and others whose names I unfortunately don't remember, but who I recognize from other comedies and TV series, this movie is a wild ride of huge portions of dead pan comedy and obvious humor. Loved it!

This is an amazingly complex, multi-layered film reminiscent of the films 'The Killing Of A Sacred Deer' and 'The Happening'. I can't believe it didn't get many four or five stars. I think audiences now days want instant gratification and just can't deal with the slow buildup of suspense. It would have been five stars for me if the ending hadn't been so anticlimactic. It almost felt like they just didn't know how to write the ending so just did an easy ending kind of thing.

This is a review of the movie of this name. I'm not going to go back and rewrite it in the movie review page, sorry. This movies was 2 1/2 hours of sheer tortuous boredom. It was set back in the time when 'Snowden' and 'Katness' ' mother were young He was her mentor, as Woody Harrelson's character was to Jennifer Lawrence's in the other 'Hunger Games' movies, (which I didn't even realize until my daughter told me after we finally got out of the theater and went home). Most of it was set in a Roman-like coliseum, and was all just tactical fighting. I was soo bored! They weren't outside in the forest until the very end, about two hours in. Then, to make it even worse, the actress they had as the leader of the games before the "wig lady" was just so uninspired.I love the actress who played this part, usually, in 'How To Get Away With Murder ', but this was just all wrong for her, mostly the fault of the writers and character development. So you should only see this if you love long scenes of tactical fighting with very little real storyline. And I certainly wouldn't advice spending money to see it in a theater. This movie makes 'The Flash' look Oscar Worthy!

This is the best series of this type that I've seen in a long time. It goes full speed ahead, taking twists and turns as fast and hard as an Italian race car driver would, on his vacation, in a Lamborghini, on a dangerous mountain road in the Italian Alps. (I'm Italian btw, so I'm not stereotyping here.) And that was only in the first episode. Fans of '24' will be ecstatic to have Kiefer Sutherland back doing what he does best: running from double agents, getting framed by bad guys, and escaping from all by using his 'McGyver' type skills. I have never been a fan of '24'. But this series is set in the world of corporate espionage. And there's nothing I love more than a good financial scandal. Throw in some espionage and good old fashioned manipulation of people using all types of brutal tactics, and you had me at "Leman Brothers."

This movie experience was an incredibly good example of "watching paint dry". It is not about Bob Ross. It is about a character who resembles Ross. The biggest star was "the hair", sitting atop Wilson's head like a somewhat droopy poodle. This was not about Bob Ross, and if it had used his name, I'm sure lawsuits would have been filed by now. Wilson's awful portrayal of some guy who loosely resembled a beloved pop culture figure was at times over the top, and at others, just juvenile and ridiculous. Maybe the 4 and 5 star reviews are coming from people who know more about Ross than I do, and have some special insight into his life. But I doubt it.
