I listened to this audiobook and it was one of the best books I have ever read or listened to. Ms. Davis reads it and, therefore, you get to experience her story through her voice and her voice is absolutely incredible. It was a heartfelt performance. Her story is heartbreaking, funny, emotional... all the things. Through her journey or discovering her own voice and her own beauty, I feel as though she has paved a path for me to do the same. Viola Davis is a treasure and we are all better because she is brave enough to share of herself with the world.
