The other movies in this trilogy were not at all satisfying to me as a star wars fan. To be honest they made me quite angry. Rise of Skywalker did better than I could ever have imagined in making the whole sequel trilogy come together and tie it into the larger legacy of the previous films. I was so pessimistic going into this movie, but ended up totally loving it. I can't believe they pulled this off!
