I’ve really enjoyed watching this show. I think the critics perhaps didn’t like that they were asked not to reveal the twist in their reviews (which I suppose was problematic as the book it is based on and the opening credits give strong hints!). The acting is brilliant and I’ve been endlessly impressed by Tom Holland’s abilities. If you’re up for an exploration of a once little known mental illness, with some great sets and character studies thrown in, then I implore you to watch this.
