Unexpected gem of a film! Just watch it & you will see its true. I watched it over 20 years ago & again tonight & appreciated it even more.

Hard to believe Rob Reiner directed this tasteless & predictable film or that Diane Keaton would agree to be in it. What a waste!

Slow & pointless with hints throughout that a gratuitous violent Tarentino touch will be added to the film before its over-and he doesn't disappoint. When the Manson family members appear it confirms Tarentino will commit a tasteless act of filmmaking to satisfy his lack of anything original to say.

Realistically acted to the point that it reminded me of the details of my own divorce nearly 40 years ago. Specifically the innocence that Charlie enters the divorce lawyer proceedings & later experiences all the predictions come true told by the lawyers initial visit. The movie was intense obviously due to the nature of divorce that brings out such raw gut wrenching emotions.

Beautifully absorbing film of hope & survival. Creation of your tribe in any form that materializes is what it's all about ♡.

I have watched this film at least 4 times & it makes me cry & remember what it's like to have a close spiritual relationship with a dog. The 1st time I ever watched it was in Japanese & I was in a plane. Though I did not know a word of Japanese-I cried watching then too.

Loved this poignant & still relevant film. The last time I viewed film was in 1999 when it premiered & tonight in 2019.

A lot of talented veteran great actors were wasted in this laughless film. I especially respect DeNiro-but this may have been the worst film I have ever sat through. If he wanted to realistically portray a "has been" comedian performing gigs that are beneath him then he accomplished the mission.

I have seen many films by these 3 actors & therefore respect their talent. Therefore I was baffled why they did this film. From the beginning it was predictable w/ Bridges having stroke & then dragged on without it developing with dialog-or anything. What wasn't predictable was just how awful the film would be. The only good thing was that the film finally ended.

Loved this quirky film! Magical dream like photograhy. Unpredictable & funny! Great Parisian Cafe musical score. And the dancing! Oh la la!
