This movie is just centred upon lies and racism. American media makes you believe that the ancient Achaemenids were evil and uncivilized when this is further from the truth. I have studied ancient Persian Empires for years, and I can confirm that nothing said in this movie is true except 300 Spartans. This movie flipped the roles of making Persians look like savages and Spartans look as humane as ever. This could be further from the truth. Achaemenids are about the most civilized people there was in the ancient world. Cyrus the Great had made the first human rights decree that saw everyone as equals in their empire, and slavery was outlawed in every corner of the empire. Physical evidence shows that Achaemenids had a maternity leave system, proven by recorded scriptures petrified in stone in Persepolis. Greece was then filled with enslaved people of their wars beyond other things. Don't believe Hollywood.
