As RDJ himself said, it is a return to the delightful children's movies from his (and my) childhood. There's a sweetness, yet a bit of snark as always expected from the great man himself. I loved it. Particularly the relationship between Dolittle and his unwanted apprentice. The actors look like they enjoyed their time filming based on the bonus bits.
