What a dismal event this turned into. A perfectly great story reduced to a few tawdry, poorly acted scenes which make absolutely no sense. I keep waiting for something significant to happen. I will watch all 8 episodes to see where it all ends up ( a heaving mess on my family room floor I have no doubt). The acting is wooden, the dialogue is banal. Mark whats his name playing the uncle……disaster. The guy playing Lasher……the ick factor is off the chart high. The FMC , where did they dig her up? I mean really, couldn’t anyone have done better that this? Jeez. Compared to Interview with the Vampire, this series is amateur hour. Lestat needs to give Lasher some acting lessons. If I were Ann Rice, I’d be gnashing my teeth with rage.
