When I watched the documentary film called Marley (2012), I thought that was it. I thought that there would be no actual movie about Bob. And now, Bob Marley: One Love has been released. When I first heard the news about them cooking a movie about Bob, I got so excited. I knew it would be a great film.
The cinematography is superb, it gives us nostalgic scenes from the '70s - '80s. The cast, I love them. I don't care about the issue of Kingsley portraying as Bob Marley. Kingsley did his part and gave justice to his role as the King of Reggae.
I love Robert Nesta Marley but I always get so emotional when it comes to his relationship with Rita. Rita has always been there for him. She deserves more than just money, property, or fame, Rita deserves to have her husband beside him, loving her more, and spending time with her despite of being a superstar. In the movie, there's only 1 scene that Bob kissed Rita (except in the flashback scenes) and it was the last scene where Bob arrives back in Jamaica.
This movie is so special, the Marley family like Rita, Ziggy, Cedella, and Stephen were so hands-on in this movie.
Overall, this movie is great.
