Cold Case Files has long been one of my favorite podcasts. Unfortunately, with the addition of Brooke Gittings, I can only make myself listen to it when she is NOT the narrator. I have tried listening to her, hoping she would grow/evolve/get some feedback from someone she respects or at least has to receive evaluations from periodically. Someone who actually reads these reviews! Bill Curtis is excellent; Brooke is stilted, wooden, self-conscious and sounds like a middle-schooler giving a book report...all cutesy and 'precious'. Simply unbearable. I think she must be related to someone on the show? Otherwise I can't imagine how anyone thought she would be a valuable addition. If the powers to be are determined to keep her, please get her some coaching. I will happily volunteer.
