This letter brings to light all the whitewashing that the Mormon church has done of its History since the beginning. I was a member of the Mormon church until my early 30s when I read this letter and had my entire belief system crushed with verifiable fact that was never taught to us and which was discouraged from being sought out. I served a 2 year mission for the church and served in various leadership callings over the last 12 years and had no idea that most of what this letter contains even existed. It was a painful process to learn the truth but I am happier for doing so. If you aren’t a Mormon, it is an extremely interesting read that brings to light a lot of the issues that the church has gaslighted for over 100 years. If you are a Mormon, you need to at least read this so you know the facts before you go around telling others that you “know” the church is true. Knowledge is something gained after learning the facts. It is not based on good feelings that you have been conditioned to experience since you were a kid. Give it a read! 10/10
