Great cast, intriguing premise. Unfortunately, the characters are all unlikeable, the plot doesn’t really make sense, the character conflicts feel manufactured, and there’s no payoff. I felt like I was watching a bad M. Night Shyamalan movie, except with no reveal. It leaves me wishing I had those two hours back.

The Adventure Time story has gotten incredibly deep over the years. It was wonderful to see new incarnations of beloved characters in Fionna and Cake, with an intricate new plot line that works surprisingly well. I loved it!
