Minus the domestic violence component this would be a good romcom. Unfortunately the DV really put a damper on it for me. It's just too real, that's everything Earl did and said. Even the parts that were supposed to be fun when she's being romantic with the doctor I kept waiting for Earl to pop out with a gun and blow both of their brains out. Nope. Nothing to see here.
