I didn't read the whole book. I couldn't. I just read whatever is available on Google. About a few pages. I feel for the woman and everything she went through. I don't know whether she did the crime she was put in jail for or not. Jail is no place to be for sure. But from whatever I read I think it to be made up to a certain level. I mean a lot of it, not all. The incidents and stories mentioned in the book sound filmy and cooked up for the reader's interest I think. They've been directly taken from shows on Netflix and Indian movies. I would elaborate more but I request to to read whatever is available and then decide for yourself.

Mrunal Thakur did so much overacting. Unnecessary words and refrences that she used were totally unrelatable. Koi haath pair nahi uski acting aur dialogue delivery ka. Vijay Verma is a phenomenal actor but his story was so fake I swear. Koi tukk nahi. The police inspector saying 'ye Mera sheher hai' was totally stolen from American westerners wherein the small town sheriff says "this is my town". Also, the background music was copied from Cowboy music. What's the relation with Indian Movies and Cowboy music ? Seriously. Asking for a coffee shop in a gaon. Like logic kahan hai ? No creativity of their own. They really thought the Indian audience wouldn't call out their chori ? The second story was good. Simple and nice. All movies are fictional but creating a society which exists in their mind and expecting public to relate to it. No point.
