What a phenomenal movie experience! Actor Cillian Murphy definitely deserved the Oscar he won playing the role of Physicist Oppenheimer who was a genius.
The movie revealed how much Oppenheimer was highly admired and well respected throughout the Country, but yet he did experience his share of challenges in life. Robert Downey Jr. played the role of Lewis Strauss, a colleague of Oppenheimer, who ended up being a back stabber as an example of one unexpected challenge.
While leaving the theater, a famous saying came to mind, written by Alexander Hamilton (who served as the first Secretary of the Treasury during George Washington's Presidency):
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!" This saying came to mind after Lewis Strauss tried to strip Oppenheimer from his Top Security Clearance, which he was successful in because he made untruths during the hearings.
But even though Oppenheimer experienced this downgrade in his Security clearance, Strauss ended up losing his appointment by the Senate to the position of U.S. Secretary of Commerce. One Senator that didn't give the needed vote was Senator John F Kennedy, who questioned his honesty and another witness testified at the hearing and disclosed the untruths too.
So, this brings me to my last point, "You Reap What You Sow!"
