Afwaah is the real propoganda movie of 2023 that tries hard to project all the Muslims as nice people and all the Hindus as evil. In his over- enthusiasm to trivialise the real issues faced by the society today, like love jihad, cow smuggling; Sudhir Mishra ends up caricaturising the issues and the characters. One gets a strong feeling, that the director is not trying to highlight the problems, but is trying to find excuses to attack Hinduism. It goes to the extent of even targeting the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Cheap story, bad acting, even worse direction and music. But these movies are finding financers and support from theOTT platforms, with help from pseudo like Sudhir Mishra. That is the saddest part.
