You've missed the point if you're over 40 and dislike this masterpiece. It skewers so many middle class values, suburban issues, college faculty egoes, marriage nights and so much more. I'll point to a description of the American supermarket as a viewing/dialog one must admire and enjoy. It's America well exposed.
