I got into the Star Wars movies in chronological order and watched this movie after wrapping up the Rebels show. Maybe I'm not your traditional Star Wars fan. But this is my favorite movie in this universe, it feels like none of the characters have plot armor and the stakes feel much higher than any of the prequel trilogy movies. I'd recommend this movie even to non starwars fan, because it is an excellent movie on its own.
