I love this version of Jesus Christ Super Star.
It's true to the music of the original with live musicians, which is great. The costumes are a nice edgy surprise. The singing is very good.
John Legend is a wonderful convincing Jesus. Sara Bareilles is lovely as Mary Magdalene. Brandon Dixon is an unconventional ,yet totally believable Judas Iscariot.
