Jeanessa Nembhard

This book is a long read however I absolutely loved every bit of it. This was my first King book and I am eager to make my way through his works. I really appreciate the perspectives of all of the characters, how their struggles were shared, and especially the emphasis that we as humans can all afford to do a little (some people A LOT) better. This is a book for women and it made me feel seen, and justified in my tired - the mental strain that comes along with fighting men at every turn in one way or another. We are exhausted and our contribution is never enough! Anyway.. like I’ve stated I really enjoyed this read! Thank you Stephen and Owen King for seeing us - if only for 699 pages I really appreciate it.
