I would really like the show if Lara would stay out of all of the decision making for the contestants. She tries to tell them what to buy and will sometimes even haggle with the sellers instead of letting the contestants do it. She shouldn’t be the one deciding how much they are going to pay. She just doesn’t stop! She’ll try to tell them what to do with the piece, what color to paint it, what material to use etc…. While I’m talking about paint, get rid of that awful blue. She tells them how much to charge for the piece and then will take over when the contestants are talking with a prospective buyer and bring the price way down and sell it herself for a losing price. I thought this was a show about two teams competing against each other for $5,000!!! I think it would be fine if she went shopping with them at the beginning of the show and just point out things and ask the team players what they think of the piece but in the end it is up to the teams to make the decisions and I think some of them feel bad and don’t want to go against her. I don’t know if this behavior is all her or whether the producers have told her to do it but I for one don’t even enjoy watching it. Such a shame. It could be a good show.
