I went into this show with a bit of skepticism but had to give it a shot being as Southland is no more and anything about patrol officers on television is scarce. It's definitely no Southland, but for now it will do. I appreciate the view into some of the things a patrol officer will see and do as well as the challenges, both mentally and physically a rookie officer will face. Mix that in with a little bit of light hearted and moving moments and it's not a bad watch at all. I haven't caught up to the third season yet, so this isn't an overall opinion yet, however at episode seven of the first season, I am binging and enjoying it.
