Where is the feature of minus stars here???? Oh god, I am traumatised. I think I need therapy now. WHAT WAS THIS????? Let's dissect the this series systematically. *Spoilers Ahead* GOOD THINGS 1. Chemistry Both main characters portray immense chemistry. Not going to lie but I replayed many romantic scenes (BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT THE DRAMA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT!!!!) However, if their romance was 5, their fights were 500. Literally 100 times more. The romance was not worth going through their repetitive, exhaustive and torturesome fights. 2. Beauty Both characters are pretty. Although I am not sure whether this point counts. But I am sure that their beauty created engagement in the show. I personally loved Ferit by both looks and acting. BAD THINGS 1. Violence Characters are continuously hitting each other, especially elders are hitting younger ones. I do not like that at all. It shows that our main characters have very less personality of their own, not to mention that their actions are driven by their families and they have very less control of their life except for the last few episodes. 2. Hypocrisy The female lead hits the male lead a lot. (A LOT!) She slaps him, pushes him, punches him and what not. However, there comes a point where he lifts his hand, and is about to hit her. She gets so offended that she leaves his home to go back to her father's house (WHERE HER FATHER BEATS HER FOR NO REASON EVERYDAY) Her husband says sorry, begs for mercy, makes it clear that his intention was not to hit her but she is apparently stubborn and leaves the house nonetheless. (BY THIS POINT THEY LOVE EACH OTHER) They never trust each other until the last four episodes out of thirty six. All in all, I am too tired to write a complete review now. I feel like taking a bath after wasting so many hours (approx. 80) on this stupid stupid show. If you are reading this and wondering whether you should or should not watch this show, DON'T. Please for god's sake don't watch this show. Unless of course sadness makes you happy, and irritation is your hobby.
