It was filmed well. It is, however, not a good movie. The idea seems to be...A Civil War would be ridiculous, and half of us wouldn't know what's going on, some of us wouldn't care, and some would just be out killing for fun. Can it happen? Yes. (Hopefully never) But this was neither action nor drama. It struggled to develop into either. And it's not an Action/Drama movie, and even saying that sounds ridiculous. Wait until this is out for streaming.

This was dreadfully amazing. In love with every character. This is a masterpiece, watch it high, watch it buzzed, watch it tripping on your vice. Watch it confused. Trapped between life and a fantasy, I believe this is what we all want and what we are all scared of. We know the truth and are crazy enough to chase it if given the chance.... Wonderful.

I wanted to love it completely. However, I don't. Joaquin Phoenix was not the actor for this role. It would have given the movie more grace if he had used a French accent and played a little more into Napoleons...complex. It was filmed beautifully. The war scenes were terrific. The story is what it is, I guess, but a little imagination would have added to the movie. Or maybe some Hanz Zimmer. 4 stars for the filming.

There are a few reasons to visit a theater. You want to see action and explosions, you are taking the family to see a fun quirky animation or you want to be terrified at the thought of demons possessing your neighborhood twins. If you see Oppenheimer you are going for pure story telling and it is nothing short of spectacular.

THIS.WAS.WONDERFUL. The story is well written, the acting was amazing, and it was filmed beautifully. This is what you get WITH a great story, a great director and an amazing film crew. For a film with a 2 hr run time, it was packed extremely well. You get enough character and story development to simply enjoy the movie. From the beginning, all the way until the end it was absolutely sublime. Never missed a beat. The music was also a great addition. The entire adventure was nothing short of fantastic. Anyone who doesn't enjoy this probably doesn't like seasoning on their food.
