People who are reviewing Runway 34 and giving this movie 4- and 5-stars... gosh, please tell me you smoked something reaaaaallly strong before posting your review!! What a rubbish disaster this movie has turned out to be. A poorly scripted movie taking elements of Flight (Denzel Washington) and Sully (Tom Hanks). The film claims to be inspired by a real aviation incident (apparently a Jet Airways flight from what I have read) which is fine. But the story has been poorly executed by unnecessarily over-glamorizing and over-"bollywoodfying" the story. Pilots and the aviation industry are picturized as though everyone associated with it is a power couple, ridiculously rich, or ridiculously glamorous. The communication between ATC and flight crew, captain and pilot, and passengers and crew is SO NOT what happens in reality. What a letdown! This could have been a good movie but poorly executed.
