This show overall is pretty good, but the only reason I am giving this 3 stars and not 5, is because I feel that Count Olaf got a little bit unintimidating over the past seasons, but other than that I feel that this show was decent.

To start it off, Changru being the villain was an excellent plot twist, BUT they did not execute it properly. All she did was just running around killing people, all for Touba Yu.(sorry if misspelled). And also, Wei Young is constantly blamed for everything, even if she is not there, for example, when Chiyun Naan was killed for the second time, his guard blamed Wei Young when she wasn't even present, there Minde, Touba Jun, and Touba Di, NOTICE HOW THERE IS NO MENTION OF WEIYOUNG, BUT SHE STILL BLAMED. At this point this is just stupidity and bad writing. And the main couple is so toxic, all they do break up and get back together. And another bad thing about this show, is that someone is always constantly dying, to the point where it felt like they were killing off all the good characters, if Minde and Touba Di was killed, I would have stopped watching the show, and even though Minde is a great character, I felt like the only reason he didn't die, was because of plot armor. They also brought Chiyun Naan back from the dead, for no apparent reason, he immediately died around 2 episodes after, not accomplishing anything, to this day I still wonder why they didn't just kill him off like the others. AND A TREMENDOUS PLOT WHOLE IS THAT THE ONLY REASON THE SHOW STARTED OFF THE WAY IT DID, WAS REAL WEI YOUNG WAS KILLED, BY AN ASSASSIAN WHO BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE. THIS DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY JUST KILLED HER OFF FOR NO REASON, AND THAT THE FAKE WEI YOUNG HAS TREMENDOUS PLOT ARMOR, SO THAT'S WHY SHE DID NOT DIE INSTEAD OF THE REAL WEI YOUNG. In conclusion, this show is trash. I would not recommend this.

The first few episodes were the best, but after Wei Wuxian turned emo(more than once), I lost all interest. Than I gained it again, when he built his village, with the Wen clan, but I just could not fathom how this show could be so bad during the last few episodes. It felt very much like they were trying to meet the 50 episode mark. They completely ruined his character,(wei Wuxian), and they did NOTHING with Jin Goyoung's character. They were just killing off all of the best characters, and I still don't understand why they would do something like that. AND THEY KEEP REVIVING CHARACTERS, THEY LITTERALLY BROUGHT WEI WUXIAN BACK FROM THE DEAD AND NING. In conclusion, this show got really bad, so I do not recommend watching this, and if you do only watch the first half (first 16 years). (I mean no hate, just constructive criticism).
