Super disappointing, I was hoping this would have that same intensity and deep story that Fury had, but it was anything but that. I had zero connection with Furiosa no investment in her or any of that characters. The storyline was a simple revenge type of backdrop but I wasn’t cheering on for Furiosa, it just lacked depth and everything that made Fury Road incredible. I was dosing off in the theatre after about 45 minutes into the film. Anya Taylor-Joy was a miscast, couldn’t put my finger on why but it didn’t improve the credibility of the Mad Max world. George Miller might need to end this saga.

Boring. No investment in characters. Call me short attention spanned but watching the main character talk on the phone throughout the entire movie was torture. I decided to stick with it and the twist wasn’t anything epic. Cheap production to churn out this crapshoot movie to release to Netflix. It’s all about quantity over quality in film-making nowadays with all these mindless streaming platforms. Sad.

Putrid. A strong B movie at best. The writing was so lazy, and a little far-fetched. I felt like I was staying up late watching a cheesy scary movie on the USA network back in the late 80’s/early 90’s. That acting was sub-par, the plot was just silly with too many random events that kept it from being cohesive. The scene when the family stumbles upon the escaped convict was just laughable. Each character lacked depth, and I didn’t even feel like cheering on any of the characters whatsoever. Barry Pepper as a recovering alcoholic turned Man of God…………I knew I was in for a long movie seeing him play that role. LOL
