I actually enjoy the gameplay this year, but I cannot give 2k a high rating while they continue to make this a “pay to play” experience. It’s virtually impossible to earn enough VC to improve your player in MyCareer at a meaningful rate. Unless you want to wait until June 2024 to be a 99 you will most certainly have to purchase VC. This year they went the “battle pass” route in the MyCareer seasons and they hide the best rewards behind the battle passes that cost $10 and $20. I also have noticed that it is taking longer to level up through the season than it did in 23. It’s blatantly obvious that they’re incentivizing us to purchase the battle passes. I’m just tired of this franchise punishing those who don’t want to spend $500 extra to enjoy MyCareer. Please, someone, make a game that can rival 2k so they’ll stop being lazy.
