Richard Perry

Loved this tongue in cheek look at the complete futility of war, especially WW1, which was criminally obtuse in its wholesale and needless sacrifice of human life. The lightly veiled criticism of the Officer class and their dogged insistence on killing their men for no discernable reason was filled with snarky innuendo. The film was funny and thought provoking.
