I’m not a Snyder fanboy, I think he’s hit or miss. With this one he hits. It’s weird even for sci-fi, but fast paced and an actual story / plot that makes sense which is rare nowadays. Exciting, scary at times, with good acting, at the very least they did a great job with casting. No political messaging either. Looking forward to the 2nd one.

I liked it. Looked and felt very much like the Star Wars of Solo, Rogue One and Tatooine, kinda grimy and sketchy characters everywhere. Spoilers ahead! IG-11 droid teaming up with Mandalorian in a shootout was my favorite part. I also loved that it leaves a lot of open questions...who hired IG-11 and why did that client want the baby killed instead of alive like Mandalorian’s client? The only two things I didn’t like were the music which felt very out of place and non-Star wars, and the humorous part of him trying to ride the creature, that felt corny to me. But everything else was great especially the plot, the special effects, the cast, and action scenes and I’m looking forward to the next one.
