Albert Hall

This movie reboot (prequel?) closely follows the plot of the 2013 game reboot (which I also loved). This is by far the best video game to movie adaptation ever made and makes the old Angelina Jolie versions of Tomb Raider almost unwatchable and cartoonish (kinda like the original game. Though fun for its time, I guess). Seriously, don’t go off of the “professional critics” score. If you’ve not yet seen this movie give it a chance. Well shot, pays homage to the game, great story, great acting, and starts the Laura Croft character from just before she finds her calling. If you’re a Tomb Raider fan, I don’t know what more you could ask for in a movie adaptation. Worth watching… and rewatching.
