Comedy?? Slow, stupid, boring, pointless.

Absolutely the worst movie that I have ever seen. What an embarrassment for all involved.

From the open, this version is way too far away from any prior versions, and the book. It discombobulates you and sets up the entire movie to feel off, and made it unbelievable and uninteresting to me. The flip flop from present to past to present is also dizzying, adding to the complete inability to welcome this version. I WANTED to love this version, DEEPLY. Instead I feel robbed. Such beautiful scenes, costumes, etc. Such brilliant actors. In a TERRIBLE script! 2 stars for the set and actors alone.

The constant purposeful video distortions, clicks snaps zaps mimicking camera & video shots, flipping to screenshots of various media coverage outlets, was SO FRIGGIN IRRITATING, I couldn’t even get thru the first episode ! ! ! I was so looking forward to this. But the producing & editing was ghastly!!!!!!! Completely unwatchable. 👎🏻👎🏻
