I am so sad that most found book 2 to be such a drag, whereas I found it, though not my favorite of the 3 (book 3 gets that title) it was the most relatable. The story of the father tapped into the challenges of living on the Autism spectrum with such empathy. Each story was unique but connected subtly. Book one did not have very likeable characters but was creative. This is the first time I’ve experienced this author’s work and I look forward to reading her other novels. I listened to it as an audiobook and the voice acting was phenomenal, perhaps that made it more entertaining.
