Bruce, my man, what were you thinking?! How did this make it out of production? I finished watching this movie for the same reason one can’t help looking at a wreck on the highway; sheer morbid curiosity and disbelief that something so perversely bad was offered for public consumption.

I was surprised at how much I liked this movie. I don’t know that the mechanics of the film were great; certainly nothing special about the cinematography, and the violence was constant and gratuitous. The fight scenes were descent and engaging, especially the climactic battle between two femmes fatale. What I loved was the universal mockery of today’s politics, with an underlying message of accidental mutual destruction. Something for the country to think about as we sink deeper into tribal politics.
