Great movie for little kids 4+. Very few "scary" parts. Story is a very "Northern Canada" tale, a few science concepts built into story. Themes include, friendship, acceptance and marine biology. Would think that improvements could be made to plot, including better rationale as to why belugas in st. lawerence who have had less robust birth rates were "enticing" a healthy pod of more Northern belugas with many young to move to south to the st. lawerence. The "villian" the orca and the peril of increased boat traffic could have been more well developed . The cousin belugas were very one dimensional and wooden. But again the three kids i saw it with loved it!
