I am 17 and can relate to a lot of the loss and racial issues Star faces. It is heart-breaking but I believe this movie helped me realize a lot of things about society today. It grabs me in and made me cry and it melted my heart all the same. It's a roller coaster but such a good movie I think no matter the age, you should watch and learn what is happening and realize it is not involving just one group.
