I must admit, I was not a fan of this game at first. After playing a couple of hours to begin with, I got bored quite easily and put the game back in the draw thinking I will never play this again. Fast forward 18 months later and this is by far one of my all time favourites. I gave this game another chance and I am so glad I did. Once you immerse yourself into the story line, you become very invested in the characters and all of their different personas. I really enjoyed how you can do side missions to give yourself a break from the main storyline but there is more then enough gameplay, you will be enjoying this game for hours on end. My biggest gripe overall is the repetition of some of the missions that make it seem very similar to the last. Aside from that, I highly recommend purchasing this game especially if you can get it for a bargain price. I cannot wait for the 4th instalment and I will be purchasing Mafia 1 and 2.
