I've been buying all of the NHL games since 2000 (with the exception of a few like '01, '03, and '08) And it's honestly just a shame how wildly disappointing it is every year. Hockey is easily my favorite sport, but this game is the worst sports game out of all the other ones. The show is great 2K is great and even FIFA is passable. But NHL is constant nonsense. Be a Pro mode hasn't changed at all in years. Why wouldn't they make it more interactive like 2K, where theres an online community, and a little world you can all coexist in outside of your "Career". The fact that the allstar game and olympics and world cup of hockey isn't included in your career either is really stupid to me. These types of things would make these game modes way more enticing and fun. The fact that when playing be a pro and I simulate a shift, way too frequently will I come back into the game from the shift sim to my own dman scoring on himself. This resulted in a game 7 loss in the playoffs where my dman scored on himself with .9 seconds left in the third. That's such a bad glitch, how is that even in the game? It just takes you out of the engagement and it makes you resent the game in general. GM connected... Bring it back, like what are you guys doing. HUT is the only game mode EA puts some effort into because its the game mode that they make money from outside of the initial purchase. What a disgusting and corrupt way to run this business. People spend 100 dollars (I spent 130) because I wanted both versions of the game, because I have friends on PS4 and PS5, which is nuts that the games not gross Gen and I'm forced to buy two versions... And after all that money spent, EA only focuses on HUT, its disgusting. I play CLUBS alot, and I can't even edit my jersey. Every time I do, it glitches and forces my team to wear a stock NHL jersey. Awesome EA... A lot of fun, glad I spent all that time trying to customize my team. EA loves adding stuff that nobody asked for instead of fixing things that need to be repaired. Like the fact that in CLUBS you need to change your custom name for your home player, away player, alternate player, home goalie, away goalie, alternate goalie. Like who even asked for that function?! What an insane inconvenience, especially with how slow and glitchy the loading screens are, its truly a nightmare to just give your created player one consistent name... We always play with a human goalie because we find its more fun, but why in the world is the human goalie so wildly incompetent when a puck is sitting right in front of them, why are they truly incapable of just putting their gloves over it while 6 bodies come flying in to try jam it in. The new total controls are garbage. Kids pressing triangle and obsessively trying the michigan online is comedically unrealistic and just play stupid. Plus the backward
