Okay, so far; but, way too much use of the N and B words.

Love this series. I have been binge watching for a week—now on S3:E18. The writing is really good.

I enjoyed One Love. Specifically, I loved the beautiful relationship with his wife and how it was captured on screen. The movie was spiritual, refreshing and felt good.

I’m giving the movie 4-stars because I like Kelly Rowland and Tyler Perry is doing what he does best—keeping his fans happy and getting actors paid. Not sure why folks are expecting something different. Also, no N words is always a plus for me.

2-Stars for effort. I did not laugh. I can’t get past the N-Words, cussing and negative stereotypes. Poor representation of the culture. However, I do wish Vince much success.

Really good series with great writing and an amazing soundtrack. I give it 4 stars because I did not like the Nigerian billionaire’s script. He was cast as a childish backstabbing selfish greedy man with no regard/support for his fellow country man Sam. Uncomfortable to watch and understand why this particular character was portrayed in a negative light. Also, in my opinion, the relationship between Rebecca and Sam should have been left out. It is inappropriate for a person in power to have sex with their workplace subordinate. Who thought this was appealing? The writers were tried to normalize the relationship as if it was okay. When young adult (25 and under) are pursued by bosses twice their age is awkward. Overall, I like the series.

I like the movie and I am a fan of John David Washington. However, the script for him was wack. The hair/makeup team and lighting crew were not kind to him. A lot of his face shots were way too dark.
