I really loved the premise and idea behind this game - the concept is not lacking in my opinion and it’s a refreshing alternative to most games on the market. The storyline and characters could have had a little more depth, but I fully appreciate a different kind of story, game, and approach. The downside is that the execution of many puzzles creates a very painful and frustrating experience. The mechanics aren’t consistent, the puzzles aren’t tied to the story in meaningful ways, the saving mechanism is broken, and doing this in first person is excruciating. It’s a slog to say the least. I hung it out and really didn’t feel that the ending was worth all of the stress and effort, the game didn’t give back as much as I put in and was more frustrating than the relationship in the storyline.
