Suspenseful and gripping with the audience always wondering if the boy will get to a better life, in one piece. The evil of the Mexican Cartel and how it infiltrates US police and has its tentacles from Mexico to Kansas to Illinois is evident and frightening. Liam Neeson plays an excellent role, believable and trustworthy. Enjoyed it. Not too brutal as it could have been, making it more suspenseful as a result. Violence is inferred where other movies use mere force for aggressive effect. I liked this one for the intelligence it imbues.
