the movie was very disappointing from start to end. It was hell predictable, lacked depth, scripting was lazy, i watched this with my bf after convincing him so much and now he is scolding me a lot **sad emoji. kindly please don't force your bf to watch this movie, and don't watch it yourself too, it's really bad. the plot is really trying to sell the original story of laila and majnu, where majnu goes crazy after falling in love with laila but fails miserably in delivering the depth and emotions of the story.

The book is well written.. But the storyline could have been better.. There were no plot twists.. And towards the end it was kinda obvious wt was coming.. And so it became a bit monotonous as well.. But I'm surely not gonna deny the fact wt the author tried to convey at the end, about the labyrinth of suffering and afterlife was eloquent and made me think about the same.. For me the novel was between okay to good..
