Beautiful film. Imtiaz Ali brilliantly portrayed the singers life and some great A R Rehmans soundtrack.

Not the same as other Rajkumar Hirani films. Film lacks its spirit unlike PK and 3 idiots. First half seem to be quite aimless and forced just to build the story.
Shahrukh is just OK. Very stereo typed role and acting. In all the characters Vicky Kaushals acting stand out.
Rajkumar type casted many of the characters as they were doing similar roles in his earlier movies as well.
One time watch and forget it.
