I’m a huge fan of the original so maybe I’m a harsh judge but this was seriously not funny, despite a really good cast working way hard to overcome a terrible script and production. I’d rather watch the original and I hope they paid Miranda Hart a boatload of cash to do this.

Really good film about the struggles LGBT people face when dealing with their families. As a southerner myself, this was particularly resonant. Great performances by the entire cast.
