I really like this drama but it definitely had the potential to be more than that. The writing was a bit sloppy during the second half episodes. I only watched till the end because of the brilliant acting of all the 4 leads especially Lee Ji Hoon and Choi Yu Hwa. Na In Woo really nailed the role of Ondal that I forgot Jisoo was the supposed ML of the drama. Kim So Hyun's facial expressions and voice were on point. Yu Hwa's character had this mysterious aura which was really captivating. Also, K-dramas REALLY should stop making 2nd leads pitiful. It's high time that they should do it because making them miserable is really a bad idea. I shipped them more than the main leads. This drama also had one of the biggest plot armor I've ever seen in a K-drama. It was utterly baffling to me. Although, I would really really recommend this drama to others in order to witness the acting prowess of the leads, amazing OSTs and top notch cinematography. It also had many sword fights which were done effortlessly. Kudos to the cast and crew members for their hardwork!!

The second lead CHARACTERS (I repeat, characters not the actors) and FL's dad were the only best thing that happened to this drama. The takeaway messages were a lil bit toxic. Otherwise an okay-ish drama with beautiful cinematography and OSTs. Talking about the actor Seonho, he portrayed Jipyeong amazingly well. Also, that man seriously doesn't deserve the hatred he's been receiving from some Suzy and Joohyuk's fans. His success is solely because of how his character written and his nuanced portrayal of the character.
