I saw Dune in the IMAX last night…. I can’t stop thinking about it. This movie HAS to be seen in IMAX. The music + slate of charismatic actors is a powerful one two punch. There is honestly nothing I didn’t like about this movie. Villeneuve should be incredibly proud, this movie is a masterpiece. It is beautiful, intimate while also being expansive, emotional and a visual spectacle. It is a visual “spectacle” like most blockbusters but this feels different… it isn’t gratuitous… it is necessary to the story. 10/10 in my book. My family of four walked out and all said the same thing… that might be the best movie watching experience I have ever had.
