For me Fruits Basket is very nostalgic since it was one of my very first anime’s (2001 version) I really fell in love with these characters so when Fruits Basket (2019) came out needless to say I was excited. This show is so many things that words won’t do it justice. For me, I find comfort in these characters. Just the concept of how every character is dealing with their own lives in different ways is beautiful to see as the series progresses because there is so much depth in every piece of it. The animation is so beautiful and arguably one of the best animated series’s I have seen. The soundtrack is lovely and they kept consistent with the sub and dub from the 2001 version to the 2019. Season 2 has recently ended and the last season will come out in 2021. Needless to say this anime will always have a special place in my heart and I hope other people feel the same and fall in love with it piece by piece. Also, the 2019 version is accurate to the manga where as the 2001 version may be a little different.
