Set between Alien and Aliens, this movie is filled withe so many callbacks. In some scenes, it is the set design and cinematography. In other scenes, you feel like the shot could fit into Alien or Aliens. Clearly, the creators wanted to have connections between Alien and Promtheseus movies. In short, it was very well written.

Great prequel! NYC setting reminds me of Cloverfield. The dust scenes were very reminiscent of 9/11. Honestly, they could do a Week One, Month One, Year One series like the 28 Days Later franchise. Some familiar characters pop up from the second movie. The marionette scene gets mirrored by the actors at bar...cute.
