I love the Outlander series up until now. I am very disappointed by Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. It seemed like Diana Gabaldon didn't write this book.; as though someone else had.
I used to look forward to reading about Claires challenges with colonial medicine, but the book didn't have much about Jamie and Claire until much past the middle of the book. The characters had been always depicted so well that they seemed alive within the pages, and I had no problem imagining all that was happening. Not so with this book.
Brianna and family came back from the future but that was barely touched upon. Jamie had a confrontation with his son William in the last book yet that too was barely mentioned.
I agree with others reviews that the book just went nowhere. I will be reluctant to buy the last book when it finally comes out years from now.
