Despite the all star cast and age old tale of a world ending event, this film falls flat on its face. Disregarding the not so subtle ploys of climate change hysteria and anti-conservativism increasingly pushed by Hollywood, "Don't Look Up" fails to captivate its audience simply by being a boring, run-of-the-mil Netflix original movie. Not a single persons reaction to the news of an impending planet-killer asteroid was plausible. If this is Hollywood's opinion of everyday citizens who "refuse to take take climate change seriously", then they truly are the fools. It lacks both comedy and intrigue, leaving nearly two and a half hours of runtime to offer nothing more than background noise. Unmemorable and unremarkable.

Well done G.C. I plan on watching this a second time to take in and fully understand all of the underlying motifs. This series is a true gem.

“The Force Awakens“ contradicts so many aspects of the original Star Wars saga. For instance, Luke Skywalker's entire persona shifted, the sanctity and power of a lightsaber was diminished, and even the significance of using the force and being a Jedi was devalued. On top of that, the choreography was phony and the acting was mediocre. I wanted to love it, but was incredibly disappointed. Despite the odds being stacked against them, I hope Disney can turn it around in the following films by building on the archetypal storylines, universal motifs, and genius scenes carried out by George Lucas.
